Force Powers

Alter Image was a Force power developed by Hyobu Sulloran which allowed the user to alter his or her own personal features, such as the height, weight, skin color, facial features, sex, voice, and body shape. These changes would stay as long as the Force-sensitive kept the power up, but would be dropped whenever the Force-user fell unconscious or simply lost concentration. However, other Force-sensitives skilled in receptive telepathy had a chance to see through this disguise which resulted in a contest of skills between the two Force-users. The power became more difficult to use the less the Force-user knew about the person being imitated.

Art of the Small was a radical Force technique. By narrowing their focus, a Force user could essentially shrink their presence in the Force to a microscopic size. While in this state, the user could operate molecules in any way they wanted, turning them into something completely different.

Battle meditation was a manifestation of the Force which instilled in the meditator's allies a greater morale in battle while reducing the opposition's will to fight. Using the Force, one could coordinate entire fleets of ships, allowing them to perform at maximum efficiency, acting as one to counter every enemy move quickly and effectively. Though ideal for meditating large-scale conflicts, Battle meditation was equally effective when implemented in small skirmishes, attacks, and duels.

Using the Force power, breath control, a Jedi could literally numb the body's instinct to shut itself down after long periods without oxygen, allowing the user to be able to go without breathing for hours, even days by using the Force to reserve the amounts of air in the lungs. Additionally, an invisible spherical shield was also produced around the user to keep poisonous gases out. This was very effective in situations where the air was very thin, underwater, or in any environment with toxic fumes.

Comprehend Speech is a Force ability that enables a Jedi to understand the spoken language of any sentient he/she is interacting with, though it does not necessarily allow him/her to speak it, merely understand the general meaning.

Dopplegänger was a Force power that allowed a user to create a perfect illusion of his or herself through the Force.

Force bellow was a power in which the user would amplify their voice using the Force.

Force Body was a type of Force technique which allowed any Force-sensitive to push their body's endurance past a safe limit, ignoring and possibly sacrificing their health and well-being, in order to sustain their connection to the Force.

Force Comprehension was the ability to absorb and interpret great quantities of information rapidly by speeding up the user's neural processes.

Mind tricks refer to a spectrum of Force powers which influenced the thoughts of sentient creatures, most commonly used to coerce into agreement by suggestion through voice manipulation, or to cause one to reveal information. This allowed its practitioners to resolve matters in a non-violent way. It could also be used to appeal to a sensory impression for distraction or cause friendly fire among enemies.

Force Deflection was a Force power used by Jedi and Sith who were without a lightsaber, or chose not to carry one. It is unknown exactly if the Jedi and Sith merely created a wall using the Force to deflect blaster bolts and Force Powers, or if they actually deflected them back with their hand. It took much skill in the Force to use this, however, and most Jedi used their lightsabers instead to deflect incoming attacks.

Force-listening was a Force technique used to hear through the Force. With it, Force-sensitives could understand words in another language or listen to beings talking from a distance.

Force Flash was a Force power employed when the person using it did not want to be seen. Related to Droid Disable, the user could temporarily disable a security holocam, causing a brief period of static, allowing the user to pass while only alerting security to a minor holocam malfunction.

Force Meld, otherwise known as Jedi meld or Battle meld, was a technique where a number of Force users joined their minds together through the Force, drawing strength from each other.

Force Suppression was a Force technique used to attack the will of the target, canceling all first and second tier Force powers. This would individually affect each active Force power. This technique took a great deal of focus to accomplish.

Force Breach was an advanced variant of Force Suppression that interrupted all powers in use by the target at the time. It was a technique employed when a foe was preparing for a Force-based attack by disrupting their concentration and scrambling their focus.

Force barrier was both an offensive and defensive Force power, that created a barrier or wall of Force energy around the intended target, be it self, friend, or foe.

Force visions were rare—but powerful—aspects of the Force, and considered the cornerstone of the Unifying Force.

A telekinetic ability using the Force that could cause a material body to draw close to the caster as well as enable the caster to push a material body with a concussive burst of pressurized air-not.

A more advanced form of Force Push, and a feeble version of Force Wave. The Jedi would alter the air currents around an opponent, turning it into a maelstrom. This swirling force would lift an opponent into the air, spin them around, and completely immobilize them.

One of the most powerful forms of Force Push. It was essentially a wave of pure Force-energy that pulsed out from the Force user that utilized it, which knocked back anything within the power's blast radius.

An extremely powerful telekinetic Force power, similar in function to Force Push, and perhaps even more Force Blow, but on a far larger scale, akin to that of Force Wave. The user created sharp, visible kinetic ripples in space, which expanded outward rapidly, flinging nearby objects away at high velocity

Force Weapon was a Force ability that allowed the user to imbue an unpowered weapon with the Force for a brief period of time. By channeling energy into the weapon, it allowed the wielder to strike and do more damage than the weapon's simple appearance would suggest. As a useful side effect, a Force-imbued weapon could be used to block lightsabers without damaging the weapon.

Hassar-durr, allowed the wielder to disable prosthetics and electric implants, interfere with shock shackles, become a range-boosting antenna for a comlink, among other uses.

Phase was a Force power that enabled the user to pass through solid objects, such as walls and doors.

The ability of foresight was perhaps universal to the Jedi or Force sensitive and was manifested in the form of Force Visions of future events, or helped the Jedi predict his opponent's movements.

Psychometry was a Force power that was a mental technique of picking up impressions and traces of information about the object touched and the events that have surrounded it.

Tapas was a Force power that allowed its user to draw on the power of the Force to remain warm in a cold environment

Alter Environment was a Force power that involved various techniques that allowed the user to manipulate nature, enabling the creation of phenomena such as Force whirlwinds or fog that could be used to attack or to shield the user from opponents.

Animal Friendship, was the Force ability to calm an animal. Once calmed, the animal would be tamed enough to be ridden or to simply remain calm.

Battlemind was a Force power wherein one's morale and fighting spirit was augmented through sheer focus.

Battle Precognition was a variant of precognition that allowed one to sense the flows of the Force and anticipate an opponent's moves, increasing reaction time in combat.

Combustion was the Force ability that allowed users to cause an object explode by sheer force of will. It was rarely used on a person, and the effects on inanimate objects and persons was devastating. Depending on the size, density and vulnerability of the object in question, combustion would become harder or easier to use successfully.

Crucitorn was a Jedi technique for transcending physical pain beyond normal thresholds.

Stun droid caused only minimum damage to a droid's circuits and was focused more on stunning the machine for a short period of time, often no more than 6 seconds.

Disable droid was much more effective in deactivating a droid or other machinery than Stun Droid and was capable of causing some amounts of damage to the wiring and circuitry of the machine.

Destroy droid was the most effective of all three levels and was aimed at the total destruction of the droid or device more than simply disabling it.

It showed up as yellow or green energy instead of blue or white, but otherwise it was very similar in both appearance and usage to the Force power known as Force lightning. This power was uncommon and controversial among the Jedi because of its intrinsic association with anger and aggression.

Force Blinding was a light side Force power. Upon use of this technique, a blinding flash of energy emanated from a user's hand, manifesting as a flash of light that overloaded a target's vision, causing temporary blindness.

Force Enlightenment was a power that took the defensive Force powers a Jedi was most skilled in, pushing them to the highest degree that the Jedi had previously mastered during his or her routine training.

The Force ghost was the soul and essence of a deceased Force-sensitive who denied the will of the Force upon death, yet was able to interact with the living, albeit not physically.

Force healing, was a power that used the Force to accelerate the natural healing process rapidly, cure diseased in Advanced level, and Poison in Mastery Level.

Force Immersion was a specialized technique developed by which a skilled user could immerse themselves in the White Current, rendering themselves undetectable by any means, organic, artificial, Force-based or otherwise.

Force Light was an immense light-side Force power used by Jedi. When used against a darksider, Force Light would weaken the darksider's connection to the Force.

A Wall of Light was an immense Force power used by Jedi. Though similar to the Jedi ability Force Light, this ability was unique in that it required the collective focus of multiple Jedi, simultaneously channeling their Force power into a single, devastating attack. Using the light side of the Force, the group of Jedi could create a wall of lightside energy, that effectively traps the dark side spirit or taint within a specific location. When used against an individual, the power was similar to blocking one's connection to the Force, and could either be a temporary confinement or a permanent blockage. This ability required a great concentration of light side power, as it could have potentially deleterious results.

Force Orb was a Force power which served as an attack. Under normal circumstances, it only worked underwater. It could also sometimes be used on land by gathering moisture in the area.

Force projection was a mysterious Jedi ability, and was possibly a variation of Force illusion. It was a technique with which a Force user could create an inanimate apparition similar to themself, used to distract, confuse or lure enemies.

Force protection was a light side Force power. This ability would make the bearer invulnerable to a wide range of attacks until it wore off, either through time, or if the user was fatigued. Protection could also wear off quicker than normal, depending on the intensity and number of attacks at once, since the aura itself could only withstand so much.

Force absorb or Force absorption (also known as absorb energy) was a Force ability, that enabled the user to absorb energy, usually harmful. It was said to be a rare ability among the Jedi.

Protection Bubble was an ability the user could create a defensive sphere around their body. It is described as a shimmering blue globe of energy. It could protect the user from a wide range of attacks, deflect laser blasts, defend against lightsabers, vacuums and even inflict certain amounts of damage upon contact with the enemy. Protection bubbles can also be used offensively. Should the user surround the attacker in a Protection bubble, it is possible the attacker will become a victim of their own attack, having been trapped within its destructive radius. Due to the extreme concentration of needed to sustain the bubble however, the user would have to be momentarily immobile in order to enact the bubble, and sometimes, completely stationary in order to sustain it.

Force Resistance was a weaker version of Force Immunity. This universal power offered some protection from direct Force Power attacks of Force Sensitive opponents, possibly negating their effects automatically.

Force Immunity was the stronger version of Force Resistance. While Force Resistance offered limited protection from Force attacks for a duration of time; Immunity rendered the user virtually invulnerable to any Force powers. The user could not be harmed or manipulated by the Force while using Force Immunity.

Force Stun was a light side power that could temporarily deaden the senses and perceptions of a targeted enemy. It was often used when a Jedi faced a large number of opponents or if they wished to disable an enemy long enough to flee from or apprehend them

Force Stasis was a more potent version of Force Stun. The Jedi would use the Force to deaden the senses of an enemy, inducing a near-catatonic state and in effect freezing that person or being in place.

Stasis Field was the highest level of Force Stun. Often learned and practiced by higher-level Jedi Knights and Masters, this power allowed the Force-user to put multiple enemies into brief, non-harmful catatonic states at one time, allowing for quick escapes or to avoid protracted confrontations against seemingly overwhelming numbers.

Force Valor was a light side Force power that increased the resolve, accuracy, and speed of one's self and one's allies. Tapping into the Force, a Jedi could increase the rate at which one's capacities functioned, allowing the body to move more quickly, strike more powerfully, and fight with improved accuracy.

Hibernation Trance, was a control-based ability that allowed Force-user to go into a very deep hibernation state. This slowed the user's metabolism and breathing to a standstill, causing the individual to only use one tenth of the air of a normal individual. A fully trained Force-user could stay in this state for up to one week in a dry climate or one month in a wet climate before dying from lack of water.

Levitation was a Force power that allowed Jedi to suspend themselves against the force of gravity. Levitation required no direct physical contact. Using the Force, an individual could then hover in place or move about wherever they desired.

Malacia was a Force technique that was used to induce a powerful dizziness and nausea in enemies by turning their equilibrium against them. It was completely incapacitating, but caused no damage to the body, and so was not considered a dark side power.

Similar to a Force trance, Morichro suspended biological functions, including breathing and heart rate. A trained Morichro user could turn the technique upon himself, surviving without food, water, or even air for periods of over a year at a time, though it would not protect against vacuum.

Plant Surge was a light side Force power that was based around the channeling of life energy into plants, allowing the user to improve the plant's rate of growth and even affect the manner in which it grows. In battle, the ability to control a plant's growth could be used to cause plants to grow with incredible speed directly under the user's control, causing plant life to grow and twist around opponents, ensnaring anyone who wasn't quick enough to avoid it.

The concept of Force persuasion was the use of the Force to exert influence. Some species with highly organized mental facilities were known to be inherently resistant to its effects.

Ray was a Force technique used by Jedi skilled in energy manipulation. By managing this power, a Jedi could turn small amounts of nearby matter into energy that could be controlled. With this energy, a Jedi could block attacks from blaster bolts.

Revitalize was a light side Force technique that revitalized an exhausted, wounded user, unconscious, and/or whoever the user directed it at. Being a Force-based power, it did not work on non-organics such as droids.

Sever Force was a non lethal Force power by which a being's connection to the Force was interrupted, or blocked from them with a wall of light-side energy. The outcome of using the force power was complete depletion of the users force.

Deadly Sight was a power of the dark side, focusing the user's hatred into deadly energy. With it, Dark Jedi could inflict pain and injury upon their foes merely by looking at them, causing victim's body to burn and smoke as they died.

Drain Knowledge was a dark side ability used to extract knowledge out of a sentient without his or her consent.

Force Destruction was a dark side Force power used by certain gifted Sith and Dark Jedi, allowing them to create a massive energy field and throw it in any direction.

Force drain refers to a spectrum of offensive and defensive Force powers, tied to the same concept, which used the dark side of the Force to tap into the strengths of an organic target. Mastery of each technique could scale the area of effect, sometimes dramatically, or exhaust the victims almost instantaneously.

Force fear was a dark side Force power, the wielder would strike directly at the deepest parts of the target's mind, causing an uncontrollable shaking fear that would wreak havoc with the target's capabilities.

Force horror enabled the Force user to cause multiple enemies to enter into a catatonic state of panic that was more severe and more difficult to defend than the basic Force fear.

Force insanity also enabled the Force user to affect multiple enemies at once, although to an even greater range than its predecessor. As the most advanced form of Force fear, its effect was much more devastating, with the victims possibly descending into an utter state of frenzied madness and deranged mania as their situation seemed to suddenly become hopeless.

Force Flight was a Force power that enabled the user to telekinectically move themselves towards a specific destination, taking levitation to an extreme degree. To use this Force power took a great deal of concentration.

Force lightning was a purely offensive, energy-based attack that channeled Force energy down the user's limbs, hurling arcing bolts of electricity from the wielder's fingertips or palms; Force lightning could be executed with either one or two hands.

Chain Lightning was a variation of Force lightning with the difference being that the lightning was able to strike one person and then move to another or several others. As it was more powerful than the standard lightning, it required a greater amount of discipline and concentration to project and sustain the stream of lightning.

Force Shock was a Force power that allowed the user to create an energy spark that would track and damage the nearest enemy. The shock could be thrown at an opponent to stun and injure them, or could be set loose to track an opponent until it dissipates.

Force Storm was a Force lightning variant. The user would raise his palm upward and would create, through the Force, an explosion of electrical energy directed at all foes in the vicinity.

Force Maelstrom was a devastating combination of the powers Protection Bubble, Telekinesis, and Force Lightning. First, the user would form a Force Bubble around their body, concealing and protecting them inside. Then, any loose objects/persons around the user would swirl around the bubble, through telekinesis. Finally, the user would devastate the objects by blasting them away, in a surge of Force Lightning.

Known to be an elaborate Sith technique, Force phantoms were lifelike apparitions that when created, could fully interact with the physical world around them in whatever manner the conjurer desired.

Force Rage, also known as Dark Rage, was a dark side alter Force ability. The Force user would tap into his or her innermost fears, pain and hate, converting them into intense anger. The user could then channel the anger to increase his or her own speed, strength, and ferocity. However, the body could not handle such rage for long periods of time, so the user became greatly weakened for some time after the rage subsided.

Force Resuscitation was an extremely rare Force power that allowed the user to bring others back to life from the brink of death with the power of the dark side of the Force.

Force scream was a Force power used by Dark Jedi. It was a scream, of strong frustration, rage, or grief, emitted through the force.

Force Slow was a power that clouded the target's mind, causing them to slow down both mentally and physically. It was the milder version of three poison-inspiring Force powers.

Force Affliction was a variant of Force Slow. Affliction worked much like a fast-acting poison, quickly debilitating the target.

Force Plague was a more powerful version of Force Affliction. Plague worked like a fast-acting toxin, horribly debilitating its victims. The effects of Plague continued to worsen over time.

Force storm was a dark side Force power, and one of the most powerful Force abilities yet known. The Force storm was actually not a storm; in fact, it was the ability to create hyperspace wormholes via the dark side of the Force. A Force storm could range from the size of a small starship, like a freighter, to huge maws capable of obliterating whole starfleets. The smaller storms appeared to be more easily controlled from great distances than the larger ones.

Force Subjugate was a Force power that enabled the user to inflict damage upon the mind of an opponent. The infliction was able to act as a distraction, or to rid the opponent of concentration for a short period of time. Some used this power to calm, or even enrage creatures with a low amount of will power.

Force travel was a Force power which allowed a being to travel great distances instantly by creating a momentary rift in space. This power caused the user to be corrupted by the dark side, as it broke the normal rules of the galaxy by ripping the Force asunder. The technique became more difficult to use depending both on how far away the target was, as well as how familiar the Force-user was with the location.

This power allowed the Force user to telekinetically attack their opponent's organs. If not resisted, it could crush the victim's heart or spasming lungs, thus stunning them and inflicting considerable damage to the organ, and incredible pain and suffering.

A crushing application of the Force, Force Grip was an advanced level of Force Choke and could be used to levitate and strangle a target's internal organs.

It caused immobilization and choking, which with prolonged focus, could lead to death. The area affected was typically the target's neck. The target was not lifted or moved about.

It was possibly the darkest Force ability known to both the Sith and the Jedi. This deadly ability lifted the opponent into the air, and as he/she was floating, his/her body literally imploded as it was crushed by the Force

Kinetite was a sphere of restrained kinetic energy which could be thrown at an enemy. The ball was fist-sized and could batter down most obstacles in its path.

Mechu-deru was a Force based skill of the mechanized area. Part of mechu-deru related to the ancient Sith Alchemy which infused mechanical objects with the energy of the dark side of the Force.

Mechu-deru vitae was a variant of mechu-deru, developed to create the Technobeasts

Midi-chlorian manipulation was form of Sith Alchemy, the ability to create, maintain, or save life through the influencing of midi-chlorians to a certain degree.

Also known as dominate mind or control mind, mind control was the dark side equivalent of the Jedi mind trick, though mind control was much more invasive, being a Sith power.

The spear of midnight black was an ancient dark side Force power. It enabled the Force user to summon the Force and forge with it an invisible spear from dark side energies which could be hurled at opponents, killing or injuring them as if it was a real physical spear.

Transfer essence, or transfer life, was a radical dark side Force power used to transfer a person's consciousness into another body, or in some cases an inanimate object.

The thought bomb was one of the most powerful and destructive applications of the dark side of the Force which targeted all Force-sensitive individuals and vaporized clothing, flesh, bone, and even stone within the radius of the weapon's blast. The thought bomb sucked the souls of its victims into a sphere of dark side energy where they were trapped in an orb of dark torment until the end of time. The sacrifice in using this technique is death .

It consisted of mentally reaching into the victim's mind, forcing them to relive all the worst memories of their life, both painful ones and ones that were merely embarrassing, over and over and over again to the point where it almost seemed to cause physical pain.

Alter Damage was a Force power used by some Jedi during lightsaber combat. With this power, Jedi were able to reduce the damage inflicted by their lightsaber so that it did not deal lethal damage. The Jedi had to first sense how much life energy, or strength, their opponent had and then had to use the Force to reduce the damage the weapon inflicted so that a murderous wound could be reduced to one that was less likely to severely damage. Jedi were known to use this power to simply incapacitate their opponents rather than kill them. This power was only possible to use when a Jedi was wielding a lightsaber, as it was the weapon in which they would most strongly identify.

A defensive technique, the saber barrier was a telekinetic lightsaber combat technique used by some practitioners of dual-saber combat. It consisted of having the lightsabers whirl hovering in a horizontal circle around the saber-wielding Jedi, thus creating a defensive yet deadly wall of lightsaber blades, defending the Jedi primarily against melee attacks.
